We are in game week 12 of the FA Women’s National League, Premier Division South, at home, facing AFC Bournemouth in the last game of 2025 

 

Our Number 8, Nia Evans, makes her 50th appearance in Blue and White today! 

 

The Starting Lineups 

Billericay Town – Bell, Ralston, Daniels, Hickman, Santiago, Evans, Smith, Ledwidge, Cawood, Vennard, Pita 

AFC Bournemouth – Jones, Hennessy, Meadows Tuson, Williams, Wilson, Barron-Clark, Quirk, Foley, Markham, Bowers, Harris 

 

The action 

We are underway in the first half, with Bournemouth kicking us off. 

 

Bournemouth have an early penalty, taken by number 12, Sophie Quirke, and manages to chip Tyrii Bell, slotting the ball into the net. 

 

Aimee Cawood has an incredible chance; unfortunately, her advance toward the goal is intercepted. 

 

Bournemouth have a second. Quirk’s cutback finds the run of Wilson, whose shot goes into the bottom corner. 

 

Bournemouth have a third, a second for Quirk, she finds space on the edge of the box and slots it past Bell. 

 

Tyrii Bell makes a save from a corner, after a scuffle in the box, and she collects the ball. 

 

Abbi Smith has a chance on goal but is brought down just outside the box. Nothing from the referee. 

 

A free kick is awarded to Bournemouth, taken by Barron-Clark and shot into the top corner. 

 

Bournemouth have a fifth, Barron-Clark crosses the ball into the box, and Hennessy sends it into the net. 

 

Abbi Smith has a shot, crosses into Aimee Cawood, but unfortunately, the ball slips past Cawood. 

 

Half Time – Billericay Town 0-5 AFC Bournemouth 

 

We are back underway, with Nia Evans kicking us off. 

 

A third for Sophie Quirk gives Bournemouth their sixth; she runs on to a through ball from Barron-Clark and finishes from a tight angle. 

 

Bournemouth have a seventh, Bowers' shot goes into the roof of the net, after Barron-Clark crosses the ball in. 

 

Catarina Pita leaves the field, being replaced by Summer Addy. 

 

Liz Santiago is forced off through injury, replaced by Kelsey Morgan. 

 

Bournemouth have a corner, shot towards the box, with a scramble in the box, Tyrii Bell saves. 

 

An eighth for Bournemouth, after a scramble in the box, number 18, Emilia Newton scores. 

 

Gracie Hickman is sent to the sin bin, leaving us with 10 for the remainder of the game.

A very unfortunate loss at home to AFC Bournemouth, Santiago goes off injured, hopefully a quick recovery for her.
