We are in the semi-finals of the Essex Women's Cup, after a quarter-final win over Chelmsford City on penalties.

Ruby Gaunt makes her debut, and Aoife McGingley is a new face on the bench.

The action

We are underway against Hashtag United Reserves in the BBC Essex Cup.

A long-range effort comes in, and Bell punches it away to deny the away side an early goal.

Abbi Smith takes a chance and runs with it, taking a shot but it just misses and slips wide past the crossbar

We have a free kick, Evans takes, but Xhema unfortunately manages to collect in the middle of the box.

Abbi Smith has a close range shot, unfortunately her shot is just abit too wide

Tyrii Bell makes an incredible save, sending the ball wide.

Evans takes a long-range shot to send the ball towards goal, but Xhema saves

Ruby Gaunt has a long-range shot, but her shot unluckily hits the crossbar.

We are back underway in the BBC Essex Cup clash.

Gaunt has a shot on goal, but her shot is saved in the centre of the goal.

Chelise Fleming opens the scoring for the away side after her shot just rolls into the net.

Ledwidge takes a long-range shot; it flies toward the goal but unfortunately is denied.

We make a double substitution with Megan McAniskey and Catarina Pita coming off, to be replaced by Grace Whitelock, who is making her debut and Kelsey Morgan.

The away side has a second, scored by Sophia Mylona, her shot sneaks in and passes Bell.

Evans takes a free kick, sends it flying over the wall, and her shot goes straight in, giving us one back.

We make another substitution, Aoife McGingley comes on to make her debut, with Ruby Gaunt coming off.

Chelise Fleming takes a shot and puts the ball in the top left corner, bringing the score to 3-1 to the away side.

We bow out of the BBC Essex Women's cup after a very tough 3-1 loss to Hashtag Reserves.

We had 3 debuts today, with Ruby Gaunt starting, and Aofie McGingley and Grace Whitelock coming on as substitutes, getting valuable minutes today in a cup tie.

We are back again at New Lodge on Wednesday, 18th February, against Hashtag United for a 7:45 pm kick-off.
