We are in game week 17 of the FA Women’s National League, Premier Division South, away to AFC Wimbledon at The Cherry Red Records Stadium.

The Action
Kekere-Ekun kicks us off to get the game underway.

The home side open the scoring early on, with Ashlee Hincks finding the back of the net to make it one.

Wimbledon double their lead soon after, Alisha Buckingham sending her effort past Bell.

Hincks has her second and Wimbledon’s third of the afternoon, adding to the early pressure.

Wimbledon are through on goal, but Tyrii Bell rushes out and makes an important save to deny them another.

Tecia Ledwidge produces a crucial block on the line, preventing a certain goal.

Shardonna’e Kekere-Ekun has an attempt at the other end, striking towards goal, but the keeper makes the save.

A Wimbledon effort goes just wide of the post.

Another shot from the home side flies over the bar.

Bell is called into action again, making a strong save to keep the scoreline from increasing further.

The ball is cleared off the line once more, with the defence working tirelessly under pressure.

Alix Ralston steps in to clear the danger as Wimbledon continue to push forward.

Another home effort sails over the bar.

Bell makes yet another save, the rebound eventually cleared away.

A scramble in the box sees the home side denied as bodies are thrown in the way.

Wimbledon find their fourth before the break, Rosie Russell adding her name to the scoresheet.

Grace Whitelock and Sienna Sherman enter the field as we begin the second half.

A scramble in the box sees Dulcie Galbally react well to make a vital save.

Shardonna’e Kekere-Ekun makes way for Summer Addy.

Wimbledon are inches away from another, but Tyrii Bell pulls off a huge save in a chaotic moment to keep it out.

The home side are awarded a free kick; the shot is taken but strikes our wall and is dealt with.

We are awarded a free kick of our own. Abbi Smith steps up and shoots, but the keeper makes the save.

Galbally is shown a yellow card following a challenge.

There is a break in play as Nia Evans goes down, but she is soon back on her feet and able to continue.

Ruby Platcha is replaced by Sophie Hardy as we make another change.

Wimbledon win a corner, but it fails to trouble the box.

Ralston gets back to make an important defensive stop as the pressure continues.

Bell produces another save late on to deny the home side.

After an intense game today against AFC Wimbledon, we unfortunately take the 4-0 loss

The girls all played incredibly today, with the second half being goal free. Alix Ralston and Tecia Ledwidge were definitely 2 to mention today.

We are back at New Lodge on Sunday 8th March against Watford for a 2pm kick off.
